Exis Technologies launches new ADR capability, 19 December 2013

Exis Technologies’ IMDG Code compliance and training product range has been expanded to cover road transport requirements arising from the ADR Agreement. Hazcheck Online and Hazcheck Workstation now include additional provisions and/or variations which apply during the road legs of a combined road/sea journey. IMDG Code e-learning has a new ADR module which can be taken with any of the IMDG Code training courses.   Read more...

UK P&I and Exis offer Hazcheck app to complement DG Guide relaunch, 17 September 2013

UK P&I and Exis are offering the Hazcheck DGL Lite mobile app to complement UK P&Is relaunch of their dangerous goods guides, 'Book it Right and Pack it Tight'. The four booklets, which were first produced eight years ago, have been updated to embrace changes brought in by amendments to the Code. The mobile app provides quick and easy access to information in the IMDG Code Dangerous Good List (DGL).    Read more...

CINS Organisation nominated for Containerisation International Award, 4 September 2013

The CINS Organisation, an initiative set up by a number of the world’s leading container shipping lines and managed by the Container Owners Association (COA), has been nominated for the Containerisation International 2013 Award for Corporate Social Responsibility. CINS Organisation launched the Cargo Incident Notification System (CINS) in 2011. The CINS organisation selected Exis Technologies to develop the CINSnet database, report processing and network functionality that drives the CINS initiative.    Read more...

Exis Technologies works with top container lines on restrictions portal initiative, 18 July 2013

Several major lines that use Hazcheck DG systems have been discussing an initiative with Exis Technologies that will help to simplify the management of the partner line DG booking process. In response, Exis is building an internet portal (Hazcheck Portal), into which participating lines will enter (or upload) and maintain the operator, vessel and port restrictions for their operations.    Read more...

Exis Technologies and TT Club to announce launch of CTUpack e-learning at TOC Europe, 28 May 2013

TT Club and Exis Technologies have come together to develop CTUpack e-learning™, an online training tool for those involved in the loading and unloading of containers or Cargo Transport Units. By exhibiting at TOC Europe in Rotterdam (25th–27th June) both organisations hope to further focus industry attention on the significant and dangerous implications of bad packing and the training required to address the problem.    Read more...
