SGM has been using IMDG Code e-learning to train staff since
2011. Darryn La Reservee, National Manager -
Supercargo commented, "We offer a wide range of services
to our clients, including the shipment of hazardous cargoes and,
therefore, we need to ensure that our IMDG Code training is always
up to date. IMDG Code e-learning give us the opportunity to train
staff across Africa without the need to organise classroom sessions
which take up valuable time and resources."
IMDG Code e-learning is a cost-effective online training
tool for all shore side staff involved in the handling and
transport of dangerous goods by sea. It was developed in
collaboration with the International Maritime Organization and
gives high quality training that complies with both the general
awareness and function specific training requirements in the IMDG
Code.
