Standard course to train office-based staff in Europe. Since then,
Unifeeder Group has trained approximately 100 designated persons
every year with the IMDG Code e-learning Ship Loader course. To
keep the employees up to date with their training, Unifeeder Group
uses the IMDG Code Refresher courses on a regular basis.
Jan Sørensen, Manager, Customs & HSSE
commented, "Unifeeder Group has offices and employees located in
many countries. The IMDG Code e-learning solutions gives us the
ability to manage a cost-effective, standardised training
programme, country by country.
By using initial and refresher training, we keep our employees
up to date with the IMDG Code. And the course management system
allows us to monitor training progress across the organization.
The flexibility of the e-learning approach means that we can
react fast to changes in our organization and geographies,
adjusting our training programme accordingly."
IMDG Code e-learning is a cost-effective
online training tool for all shore side staff involved in the
handling and transport of dangerous goods by sea. It was
developed in collaboration with the International Maritime
Organization and gives high-quality training that complies
with both the general awareness and function-specific training
requirements in the IMDG Code.
